A Multilayered Approach
Learning about life cannot occur in a vacuum. To truly participate in life, a child must think about life, engage with it meaningfully, and communicate with others effectively.
Learning to Relate and Participate
Through active participation in life tasks, children and students can enhance abilities including:
- Observing
- Remaining engaged in interactions
- Sharing experiences
- Developing episodic memories
- Expanding language skills
For All Ages and Abilities
This approach is suitable for individuals facing learning challenges across all ages.

Within my practice, I offer:
- Speech/language and relatedness evaluations. Cost varies with the specific child, the number of sessions, and whether a school observation is included.

- Consultation on setting up a home program with Expectations and Responsibility as its foundation.

Dr. Caley Schwartz
"My team and I have a particular specialty in treating individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Our philosophy is to treat the core deficits while increasing each individual's participation in life."
Children develop problem-solving abilities through concrete life tasks and social situations, becoming adaptable participants across life domains. Parent and caregiver involvement ensures continued progress and natural generalization of skills. The practice also collaborates with schools on educational planning and offers small-group therapy (2–3 children) for social interaction and life skills.
